Technical Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to own delivery across one or more classified software programmes. You will work directly with a small, senior engineering team — setting realistic timelines, managing risks, aligning with stakeholders, and removing blockers before they become problems. This is a hands-on role: you will be close to the technical work and expected to understand it. Experience in complex, regulated, or security-sensitive environments is essential.

Requirements

• 4+ years managing software engineering projects or programmes end-to-end
• Proven track record delivering complex software in cross-functional teams
• Strong command of Agile delivery — Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches applied pragmatically
• Risk management: early identification, clear mitigation plans, transparent reporting
• Stakeholder management — able to translate technical progress into clear status for non-technical audiences
• Excellent written communication — specifications, status reports, decision logs
• Willingness to work under NDA and security clearance conditions
• Fluent Ukrainian or English

Nice to Have

• Background in software engineering — understanding of how systems are built, not just managed
• Experience in defence, government, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with military procurement processes or programme governance frameworks
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
• Experience managing distributed or hybrid teams across multiple time zones
