Senior React Native Developer (Mobile)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior React Native Developer to build and ship production mobile applications for iOS and Android in demanding operational environments. You will work on field-facing software used in conditions where performance, reliability, and offline capability are critical. This role involves deep native integration work, not just cross-platform UI — you will bridge React Native with native device APIs and platform-specific capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile development, with 2+ years shipping React Native apps in production
• React Native and TypeScript — deep understanding of the bridge, New Architecture (JSI / Fabric / Turbo Modules)
• State management — Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or MobX-State-Tree in a real-world application
• Native module authoring — bridging custom iOS (Swift/Obj-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) APIs
• App store deployment experience — Apple App Store and Google Play, including certificates and provisioning
• Understanding of mobile performance — JS thread, UI thread, memory, battery impact
• Comfortable working under NDA and security clearance conditions
• Fluent Ukrainian or English

Nice to Have

• Offline-first architecture — local persistence (SQLite, MMKV, Realm), sync strategies
• Bluetooth Low Energy or device hardware integrations
• Map rendering on mobile — Mapbox Maps SDK, react-native-maps
• Native Swift or Kotlin development experience
• Experience in defence, field operations, or safety-critical mobile applications
